Answer
Use direct, non-accusatory language: explain that testing and condoms are part of your normal health routine, ask when each person last tested and agree on protection before drinking or becoming intimate. A claimed negative test does not cover exposures after the test or every infection. Either person can decline sex or change their mind without owing an explanation. Health note: Condoms reduce risk but do not eliminate every STI risk. Testing windows differ, and PEP is time-sensitive after a possible HIV exposure. Contact a qualified clinic or hospital promptly for personalised medical advice.
